new losses will receive a response within the same day of report
- Policyholders
facing an immediate crisis will be contacted within one hour,
regardless of time of day
- Inspection
of property damage will be conducted within 48 hours of the claim's
initial report
- Payment
of first party claims will be made within 48 hours--following
satisfactory documentation of loss and agreement on damages
Choice
and Flexibility
Policyholders suffering a loss to property or damage of valuable
articles have the option to replace an item or receive a full cash
settlement, with no depreciation. Clients may opt to use the services
of the contractor, body shop or vendor of their choice, or they
may choose from AIG Private Client Group's preferred network of
specialists.

Litigation Management
AIG Private Client Group understands that mitigating personal liability
exposure is of critical concern to our policyholders, and has developed
strategies to help defend their interests.
At
the core of our litigation management strategy is our Panel Counsel,
a nationwide panel of preeminent litigation defense specialists.
Policyholders will have the option to choose a defense firm from
our Panel Counsel that best represents their interests. In concert
with the client and Panel Counsel, we will define a defense strategy
that meets our mutual goals--aggressively defending cases that should
be challenged, while expeditiously settling cases that should be
resolved.
